GreenBudgetHub is a small editorial site about indoor wall finishing. We cover plaster, drywall, paint, insulation, soundproofing, waterproofing, decorative plaster, and the moisture problems that ruin them. We deliberately don’t cover flooring, plumbing, electrical wiring, exterior facades, or anything outside the wall plane.
Who writes this
Every article here is written or reviewed by Jérémy F. He has spent fifteen years working as a plasterer-painter on residential jobs in central France. That work includes repairing pre-1950 lath-and-plaster ceilings, fitting acoustic drywall in shared housing, troubleshooting damp interior walls, and arguing with paint reps about coverage claims. The site is where he records what worked, what failed on paid jobs, and what he’d buy again with his own money.

Sourcing
Technical claims are sourced from manufacturer technical data sheets, application guides, and published trade standards. When we cite a study or test result, we link to the primary document.
Testing
Product reviews come from one of three places: a tool or material Jérémy has used on a paid job, a structured read of verified buyer feedback across multiple retailers, or a side-by-side comparison of published specifications. Each article labels which method applies.
Updates
Every guide carries a “last reviewed” date. We re-check pricing, product availability, and code references on a rolling 90-day cycle. When a recommendation changes or a product is discontinued, the article header notes the change with a date.
How we make money
GreenBudgetHub is reader-supported. We participate in the Amazon Associates program under associate tag gbhteam04-20 and earn from qualifying purchases. We display ads through Google AdSense (publisher pub-1466483917362241). Email subscriptions are handled through MailerLite. An affiliate commission never changes which product we recommend. When a non-affiliate option is the better buy, we say so and link to it anyway.

If you spot an error — a wrong product code, an outdated price, a technique that doesn’t hold up — email contact@greenbudgethub.com. We respond within five working days. Verified errors are corrected within forty-eight hours of confirmation. A dated correction note then appears at the top of the affected article.
